About Wendy

It is my  privilege and blessing to bring to you a wonderful new form of Soul Centered counseling called IFS (Internal Family Systems). I have been practicing IFS counseling since 2010. What a wondrous journey!

I have been seeking inner transformation and freedom from past wounds and a richer, more peaceful existence for all of my adult life. IFS has provided me with the means/tools of spiritual growth and emotional healing I have been so longing for.

I tragically lost my father when I was nine. My family was plunged into upheaval and trauma.  My mother had four children to try and care for.  I was thrown into a new and scary world.  I have been trying to heal that wound for 35 years using all kinds of therapy. I found some healing using traditional and alternative therapies, but no healing has compared to the depth and speed of healing I have found through my use of IFS counseling. My brother Teo and I found IFS in 2010. We started reading IFS books and facilitating study groups to learn more. I also began taking professional IFS practitioner classes.

My next step was to begin receiving IFS sessions. By my third session a miracle occurred. I had the deepest, most lovely and healing experience ever! Areas of my life that I had felt tormented by suddenly realigned themselves and melted. Wow.

That session convinced me that IFS is the way to go!  I began my formal training and I am now a Certified IFS Practitioner working in Sonoma County. I have been giving sessions since 2011 and I am continually amazed at the beauty of this work. I am so honored to be able to be involved in this healing.

I will meet you with respect and compassion, and a deep sense of grounding from which we can partner in exploring your truer self.

I am not a licensed therapist. Yet, I am an excellent IFS Practitioner who can help you in self exploration and guide you in finding your own miracles.

This journey is the joy that I am blessed to call my work.

I have 9 years of experience counseling people using the IFS principles. My private practice is here in Santa Rosa, California. I have also been teaching IFS for the last 8 years (beginning and advanced classes).
